Lauren Knapp is a dedicated trial attorney with extensive experience in courtroom litigation. Her practice includes representing victims and their families in catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases.

Ms. Knapp has built a robust civil litigation portfolio. Her experience includes pre-litigation and litigation cases involving personal injury (automotive accidents, wrongful death, and premises liability), insurance bad faith, negligence, and human trafficking.

Before entering private practice, Ms. Knapp served as a Deputy District Attorney in Colorado’s 18th Judicial District, where she prosecuted a broad range of traffic offenses, misdemeanors, and felony matters. While assigned to the Special Victims Unit, Ms. Knapp focused on cases involving crimes against children and at-risk adults, including sexual abuse, child abuse, and homicide. Her work in these sensitive and complex matters reflects a deep commitment to justice, compassionate advocacy for vulnerable populations, and the ability to navigate high-stakes litigation.

Ms. Knapp earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where she distinguished herself as a member of the National Trial Team. While on the team, she became a National Champion at the National Ethics Trial Competition in Sacramento, California, won the Daniel S. Hoffman Memorial Trial Advocacy Tournament hosted by the University of Denver, and received a Rising Star Advocate award. Prior to law school, Ms. Knapp graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Colorado Boulder.
