Bio
Personal Injury Attorney Giorgia Turpen was born in Padova, Italy, and attended an English International School until the age of 18, when she moved to California to attend the University of San Diego (USD) in the summer of 2009. Her father is a lawyer in Italy, and he passed on his passion for the law to Giorgia.
While in college, Giorgia focused her studies on law, intending to go to law school. From her sophomore through part of her senior year in college, she worked as a felony paralegal at the San Diego County Public Defender’s Office. She thought she wanted to be a criminal attorney or a prosecutor.
After graduating from USD in May of 2013, she pursued a Juris Doctorate at Charlotte School of Law in Charlotte, NC. While in law school she interned for criminal defense firms and worked for two years in the in-house legal department for the Electric Power Research Institute practicing in the areas of corporate law, intellectual property law, and data protection.
After obtaining her law degree, Giorgia and her husband moved to Colorado. Giorgia obtained her Colorado Bar license in October 2016 and since then, she has been practicing in the field of personal injury. For the last seven years, Giorgia has been tirelessly fighting and advocating on behalf of injured clients in Colorado specializing on catastrophic injury and wrongful death. In her free time, Giorgia loves to hike, ski, and enjoy the wonderful Colorado outdoors with her husband, two boys, and puppies.
