Babar Waheed
Babar Waheed has been a part of the The Law Offices of Dan Caplis, PC for over half of a decade. He previously worked as a law clerk for the firm in 2004 and then as a summer associate in the summer of 2005. In the fall of 2005, Mr. Waheed interned at the Office for the Public Defender, Appellate Division, where he focused on research and writing as well as appellate advocacy. On August 21, 2006, Mr. Waheed returned to The Law Offices of Dan Caplis, PC as an associate.
Demonstrating a strong talent for courtroom work, Mr. Waheed won his first district court jury trial within one week of being admitted to practice law in Colorado.
As an attorney, Babar Waheed aspires to practice law with the same unbending integrity and strict adherence to ethics that characterizes his colleagues. His areas of specialty include discovery practice, legal research, motions practice, and appeals.
Education and Experience
Babar Waheed is a Colorado native, born at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Denver. He grew up in Aurora and graduated from Smoky Hill High School in 2000 with an International Baccalaureate diploma. Mr. Waheed then attended the University of Colorado, Leeds School of Business. He graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a double emphasis in finance and information systems. Mr. Waheed then entered the University of Colorado Law School, where his coursework focused on litigation and trial advocacy. He graduated in 2006.

Babar Waheed is a member of the Colorado Bar Association. He has also been admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the district of Colorado.
In his spare time, Mr. Waheed is proud to be a Big Brother in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado.
